Whilst the club were unable to award any playing awards this season, there was one award that we were still able, and proud, to present. Bridport RFC are pleased to announce Ayorinde Fraser as this past season’s Clubman of the Year.
Speaking of receiving the award Fraser said:
“Delighted to receive this award, Bridport is a club I am passionate about and just doing my bit to ensure that we have a flourishing club now and in the future.”
Club Chairman, Julian Hussey, who presented the award said:
“Throughout the last year Ayo has brought so much enthusiasm to his roles within the Club that it made him the obvious choice for this award.
Whether it was battling with bureaucracy in his role as treasurer, doing fitness sessions over Zoom, coaching his son’s age group or training his ready smile was always there.
It was a pleasure to present the award to him.”
