Junior rugby for ALL ages will commence THIS Sunday 4th April from 10am to 12 noon.
As you know the rugby season will be extended in to the summer. It is very likely that we will be playing contact games before long. It is essential your child is correctly registered. Our investigations show that a lot of children are not registered, even though their parents think that they have completed GMS online process.
Please make sure that you log back in to GMS and complete the registration for your child.
There are three issues which affect many:-
1. The verification email has gone into your junk mail meaning that your registration is incomplete;
2. Your child has been registered to you but not to the Club – because it was not obvious how to do so;
3. There is no emergency contact registered for the player.
Because of this, the majority of children will not actually be registered to play when the time comes to be able to do so. This even affects those who have paid, as payment does not guarantee that registration was completed and, sadly, there is nothing that we can do to register your child on your behalf.
Please can all parents of those under 18 log in, ensure that there is no red box saying that you need to verify your email address (and follow the instructions if it does) and ensure that you have chosen Bridport RFC as your child’s club. It is really important to do so, even if they have played before because GMS unregistered all children prior to September 2020.
