It’s that time of year again. Dig out the old, forgotten boots and dust them off. It’s President’s XV v. Chairman’s XV Memorial Match this Saturday, April 13th!
This is an annual exhibition match where all former, current and future senior men’s players are welcome to turn up for a run out. Whether it’s for love of the game, one last opportunity at glory or simply for an opportunity to prove to your friends that you are not, in fact, delusional about the glory days and all of your war stories are entirely factual and unexaggerated – then this is the game for you!
The game will be played over 80 minutes with unlimited, rolling substitutions – thank god. Kick off will be at 14:30.
As ever, any and all support is welcome and greatly appreciated. It really is a great opportunity to get together to celebrate what we have and, perhaps more importantly, to remember those we have lost.
For those who want to play in this match, make sure you are at the clubhouse no later than 12:30 for the player meeting so we can get everything organised as quickly as possible.
